THOMAS H. MCCARTHY of Buffalo, NY died March 10, 2020 at the age of 85. He founded the Thomas H. McCarthy Funeral Home in South Buffalo in 1957 and in 1994 a second location was added in West Seneca. A 1956 graduate of the Simmons School of Mortuary Science, he served as president of the Erie-Niagara Funeral Directors Association, chairman of the New York State Funeral Directors Association's advisory board and was a member of the National Funeral Directors Association.
