SHERMAN CARL ROWLEY of Mt. Pleasant, MI died January 13, 2020 at the age of 67. He served his apprenticeship at Palmer-Bush Funeral Home in Lansing before joining Stinson-Helms Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant in 1979. He purchased the business in 2010, renaming it Rowley Funeral Home. Rowley continued to own and operate the funeral home until his retirement in 2018, when his business merged with the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. He graduated from the Southern Illinois University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mortuary science.
