PERNEL JONES, SR Obituary

PERNEL JONES SR of Cleveland, OH died October 6, 2020 at the age of 79. He began his career as a funeral director working alongside his brother, Mar-shall W. Jones Jr, at the Marshall W. Jones Jr Funeral Home in Baltimore. In 1973, he established the Pernel Jones Funeral Home in Cleveland, renaming it The Pernel Jones & Sons Funeral Home in 1998 after his two sons joined the business. Jones graduated from Temple University's Echols College of Mortuary Science and was a member of the Ohio Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors and the Ohio Funeral Directors Association.
