DAVID L. MONROE of Oneonta, NY died October 7, 2016 at the age of 85. He began working at Leonard Hall Funeral Home in Delhi and later the Bookhout Funeral Home in Oneonta as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He owned and operated the funeral home until his retirement in 1997. He graduated from the Simmons Institute of Mortuary Science in Syracuse.
