DAVID E "NED" HILLIS of Zanesville, OH died October 16, 2017 at the age of 72. He was a second generation funeral director and embalmer at Hillis Funeral Home, which he owned and operated alongside his brother, Jim until retiring in 2013. He served his country as a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War in the mortuary division. He was a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association and the Ohio Embalmers Association.
